The FA7655 is a 2.5A power distribution switch with high absolute rating of 29V. The programmable current limit protects the power source from overcurrent or short-circuit conditions. The power switch is controlled by an on/off input, which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals. In FA7655, an on-chip load resistor is added for output fast discharge when the switch is disabled. The power path supports OCP, SCP, and OTP features. Other features include a power good (PG) output that signals when the output voltage is ready.
