The ultra-low on-resistance 6A dual channel load switch FA7640 with low output discharge resistance goes on the market
Hsinchu, October 5, 2023 -- Fortune Advanced Technology today launched its new dual channel low voltage load switch IC
The low voltage load switch product series of Fortune Advanced Technology includes six products FA7601/FA7603/FA7605/FA7607/FA7608/FA7640. For more information, please refer to Home > Products > Load Switches > LV Load Switches.
The most significant feature of this IC is that its output discharge resistance is quite low.
The FA7640 is a small, ultra-low Ron, dual-channel low voltage load switch supporting a maximum continuous current of 6A per channel. It can be used in an input voltage range of 0.8V to VBIAS, in which Bias Voltage (VBIAS) Range is 2.5V to 5.5V. Each switch is independently controlled by an on/off input (ON1 and ON2), which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals.
In FA7640, a 90Ω on-chip load resistor is added for quick output discharge when the switch is turned off.
Package and availability
The FA7640 is now available through authorized distributors in the DFN2x3-14L package. Full and custom quantity reels are available.
