FA7623B

The FA7623B is a low RDS(ON), eFuse with 6V voltage rating, and is able to drive 2.5A continuous current. The over current function protects the power source from over current or short circuit conditions. The eFuse is controlled by an on/off input, which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals. In FA7623B, an on-chip load resistor is added for output fast discharge when switch is disabled. The FLAGb pin is an open drain output that asserts low when over current, or over temperature event occurs. The FLAGb signal remains asserted until the fault condition is removed and the device resumes normal operation. The FA7623B is designed to eliminate false fault reporting by using an internal deglitch circuit.
