FA2255

The FA2255 is a linear regulator that designed for supplying power to systems with high voltage batteries. It includes a wide 3.0V to 40V input range, low dropout voltage, low quiescent supply current and miniaturized, high thermal-performance packaging. The low quiescent current and low dropout voltage allows operations at extremely low power levels. Therefore, the FA2255 is an ideal for the low power microcontrollers and the battery-powered equipment.
The FA2255 offers an enable pin compatible with standard CMOS logic which intended for use in power-rail sequencing is required. The FA2255 provides the fixed output voltage and the output adjustable version. The regulator also includes current limiting and thermal shutdown to protect against over-load and over-temperature conditions.
